Bedding Details: My All White Luxury Bed

As the daughter of someone who has worked most of her life in the luxury linen industry, I would say I’m pretty picky about bedding. I’ve had access to some of the best linens in the world for as long as I can remember and get legitimately excited whenever someone comes to me for bedding advice. I could talk about it for days.

So when I posted a video on TikTok making my bed and people commented asking for links, I ran here. Of course I posted the info on my LTK page like normal, but I also wanted to elaborate a bit more than is possible there.

The majority of my bedding is by Peacock Alley, a luxury linen company based out of Dallas. My entire family is ride or die for their products, especially the Soprano line. We almost never sleep on anything else (no joke). It’s insanely soft and gets better with each wash, making it a great investment!

If you’re hesitant about investing in luxury linens, don’t forget that we spend 1/3 of our lives in bed. Once you try these you’ll understand the hype, trust me. The Soprano sheet set is their #1 seller for a reason!

HERE ARE THE DETAILS OF MY BEDDING (which you can see layer by layer in my TikTok video here or on Instagram here):

The first layer is a white Soprano fitted sheet. I love an all white bed. It’s timeless, looks crisp and clean, and I never get sick of it like I have with every non-white bed I’ve made in the past.

Next is a white Soprano flat sheet. Because I am a full blown crazy person, I usually take this fabric steamer to the top of the flat sheet so it looks perfect pulled back.

For some texture, I next add the Juliet Matelasse Coverlet, also in white. A coverlet is nice because it’s versatile — you can use it as a lightweight layer between your sheets and duvet like I am currently doing or as a bed blanket towards the foot of the bed.

My pillow inserts are these Peacock Alley down pillows. The first layer of pillows are standard sized, covered in — you guessed it — white Soprano pillowcases.

Side note: To save a little money, I’d recommend this Soprano sheet set which includes the fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases! If you’re overwhelmed trying to design your entire bed or aren’t sure where to start — this is my number one recommendation. Get the Soprano sheet set.

Next I have two Euro pillows. These shams are actually new and from Target, click here to check them out. Mine are the color “twilight taupe”. If you want to keep the bed all white and more cohesive, these Juliet euro shams which match the coverlet are a great choice.

Next, two more standard-sized pillows, this time covered in white Soprano shams.

If you want more texture here, I also have these white Channing shams and usually alternate between the two.

Last but not least, a textured lumbar pillow from Target. You can see that here.

For my duvet insert, I use a Peacock Alley down duvet. I also have their down alternative duvet which is nice if you are sensitive to down. I like the warmth and the fluffiness of the down so I tend to gravitate more towards that one though. My duvet cover is a white Soprano duvet cover. My parents surprised me with that for my birthday last year and it’s beautiful.

As a final touch, I usually drape this bed throw from Target on top for added texture and a bit of color.

My canopy bed is from Amazon and was shockingly inexpensive for the quality. I have had it over a year now and definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something similar! Click here to check current pricing and availability.

The rug under my bed is the same as the one I have in the dining room that everyone dies for. Click here for more info on that.
