As I’ve been furnishing my new Austin apartment I’ve discovered tons of amazing items, a lot of which are from Amazon! So I rounded up the best Amazon home products that I’ve discovered (so far).

The Best Amazon Home Products
VITRUVI DIFFUSER — One of my favorite purchases since moving into my Austin apartment is this Vitruvi stone diffuser. It's made of high quality porcelain with a matte ceramic finish and, unlike most diffusers, makes the prettiest decor piece! All of the colors are to die for - black, charcoal, terracotta, and white - so it was incredibly hard to decide but I went for the terracotta color since it goes perfectly with the rest of my place.
There's two different timer settings: consistent 4-hour and intermittent 8-hour, an optional LED light, and automatic safety shut-off. Paired with the right oil, it makes your house look, feel, and smell like a luxury spa. One of the first things I do every morning is turn this on and it's such a treat every single day. SANTAL DIFFUSER OIL — Part of the reason I love my Vitruvi diffuser so much is because I have this santal diffuser oil. Most santal scented things I come across are outrageously priced (I'm looking at you, Le Labo) but not this one! It's currently priced under $20 yet smells just as lovely as the other much higher priced options.

CANDLE LIGHTER — If you don't already have an electric, USB rechargeable lighter, this is a must. It makes lighting candles so much quicker, easier, cleaner, and safer. Click here for the one I recommend.
CANDLE ACCESSORY SET — On a similar note, I also love this candle accessory set. It includes a candle snuffer, wick trimmer, and wick dipper. Trimming the wick can add to candle burn time and snuffing it helps prevent wax from flying where you don't want it so it's quite useful.
It also makes a nice decor item and a fabulous gift for any occasion (birthday, mother's day, house warming, holidays, etc.). Why buy someone a candle when you could buy them a candle with a pretty inexpensive candle accessory set?!

PALO SANTO — Another small but great purchase, these palo santo smudging sticks! They can be used to cleanse the energy of a physical space, object or person and make your home smell lovely while doing so. Click here to get yours.
NATHAN JAMES THEO BOOKSHELVES — There are so many things I love in my new apartment so this might be a bold statement, but I think these Nathan James bookshelves are my favorite part. I have three of them running along the wall in my dining room and they truly add so much character. I can't even count the number of times people have told me my place looks like a magazine and I think a large part of that comes from these!
Compared to other similar options they are incredibly reasonably priced - literally 1/3 the price of a popular almost identical option from elsewhere. I ran into a super minor issue with one individual shelf on one of my three bookshelves and was so impressed with Nathan James' amazing customer service. You can easily reach out to them directly even when you purchase via Amazon as I did. Really cannot recommend these more!

WOOD PEDESTAL — This small wood pedestal is an easy way to elevate your decor. They can be used just about anywhere to help visually separate a crowded area, add some elevation, or make a small piece pop a bit more. The rustic wood of mine adds a bit of warmth to my collection and is definitely one of my best Amazon home purchases! Click here to check availability.
DINING ROOM RUG — Before purchasing my dining room rug I saw it a million times in a million different places. I also read a million different reviews, most of which were positive but many of which were saying the rug looks different in person than it does in photos. After months of hesitating I finally decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! It's absolutely beautiful.
As many of the reviews state, the rug does look different in person. To me, it's a lot greener. It also looks very different in different spaces, depending on the surrounding decor and the lighting of the space. But I know a handful of people personally who own it and they all love it, as do I, and as do 2K+ people on Amazon. I love it so much, in fact, that I'm constantly wondering and evaluating how weird it would be to have the same one in my bedroom or in my living room. I really do love it that much!

ACCENT CHAIRS — This item I love so much, I bought it twice! The camel colored one I have in my living room as an accent chair and the charcoal in my bedroom corner. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I discovered it because it's almost identical to this West Elm chair I loved but 1/6th the price! Worth every penny and more.
AMAZON BASICS FRAMES — As someone with roughly 8000 times the amount of frames in their home than the average person, I buy frames all over the place, including from Amazon! These Amazon Basics ones are great and reasonably priced, especially if you're looking for ones with real glass.
FLOOR MIRROR — Mirrors are so over priced and something I was definitely not looking to splurge on, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this huge yet very reasonably priced one on Amazon. Free shipping included!

AMAZONBASICS WALL MIRROR — Another great mirror from Amazon is this Amazon Basics brand wall mirror I got for above my dresser. It has a peaked trim which is absolutely beautiful and adds some detail while still maintaining the minimalism I was hoping for. For the quality, it is a steal of a deal! Click here for more info.
CANOPY BED — When I graduated from college and moved to SF I bought a white canopy bed frame, which I still love the look of all these years later. So when it came time to buy a new bed frame for Austin I was shocked to find one I liked on Amazon with free Prime shipping, 6K+ 5-star reviews, and at such an inexpensive price. It's made of solid steel so it's said to be incredibly strong, long lasting, squeak-free, etc. and so far so good! I even put it together all on my own (along with everything else in my apartment) :)
FAUX LAVENDER — I of course much prefer fresh flowers or even dried (real) flowers to faux, but if you're in the market for some faux stems, these lavender ones are pretty good. They look super real to me!

DRIED PAMPAS GRASS — I searched high and low for pampas grass in Austin but cannot find it anywhere so finally I gave in and bought some online. These ones from Amazon had good reviews and absolutely beautiful review photos so I took a chance and am so glad I did. They're exactly what I wanted and they add such fun warmth and texture to my apartment.
My only problem is I cannot decide for the life of me where I want them to live because I want them in every room! Click here to buy yours.
AMBER GLASS DISPENSERS — I love Mrs. Meyers cleaning products because they're clean, made from plant-derived ingredients, essential oils, and other wonderful things. But I don't love the packaging, so these amber glass dispensers are a must! Especially because you can purchase some Mrs. Meyers products in bulk to cut down on package waste, so these are easy to refill.

SHOWER SHELVES — I loveeeee these shower shelves! My shower head is super high up so having something hang from that is definitely not ideal for me. So I was thrilled to discover these shower shelves which not only are aesthetically beautiful and are also perfectly in line with the rest of my decor. They have almost 9K 5-star reviews and I agree with that sentiment entirely.
They hang via a powerful waterproof adhesive so you don't need to worry about drilling or damaging anything and I've yet to have a single issue! I can't recommend them enough. Click here to get yours.
TURNTABLE — My turntable was the first purchase I made in my new apartment - literally before furniture, a tv, or anything else. I spent weeks and weeks researching which one I wanted, debated all the pros and cons of each with my dad, before finally deciding on this Fluance one.
It's what I'd call a mid-level turntable (definitely not the cheapest option but also not the fanciest one you could invest it) that will last me years (maybe decades?!) to come and I'm absolutely thrilled with it so far! Click here to check pricing and availability.
