21 Beauty Items I Constantly Stock Up On All Year Long

Despite having a very expensive addiction to trying out new beauty products, there are a handful of items I find myself constantly stocking up (and re-stocking up) on all year long.  Considering the highly anticipated Sephora Beauty Insider Appreciation Event is this week, it seemed like the perfect time to share a list of the things I will be buying during the sale!

If you aren't already familiar, the Sephora Beauty Insider program is a rewards program that allows you accrue points for every dollar you spend at Sephora. You can then redeem those points for trial-sized products, beauty services, and more. The best part? It's absolutely FREE!

If you are a VIB Rouge member like I am, you get early access to the sale from Aug 24-29 and a whopping 20% off with code "YESROUGE".  For the rest of the insiders the sale is from Aug 30-Sept 3, with 15% off for VIBs with code "YESVIB" and 10% off for Insiders with code "YESINSIDER".

Here are the items I'll be stocking up on during the sale (and all year long as they run out)!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner is the best eyeliner of all time — really. It's so good that it can even last through a car accident, in fact! I find it easier to apply than gel liner and other liners too so it's my forever go-to.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is my favorite mascara when I want big, bold lashes! I carry it in my makeup bag at all time.

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer is the primer that made me actually believe in primers. I have dry skin so I lather on lotion as often as possible which is why I love this primer - because it is actually hydrating and feels more like skincare to me than makeup. It is infused with coconut water, a probiotic-based ingredient, and skin revivers to leave your skin looking dewy and radiant!

Kat Von D Shade + Light Face Contour Palette  is a palette I saw everywhere before finally making the purchase myself. Now it's something I can't live without! It's a contour palette but even when I'm not applying much to my face I'll use the bronzer and a light powder under my eyes.

Buxom Plumping Lip Polish Gloss in Kanani is a lip gloss I always have on me and not just because it is named after me :) It's hydrating, shiny without being overly sticky, and even plumps your lips! The plumping isn't too much (if you want something more intense, try Too Faced Lip Injection) and I love the hot pink color of Kanani.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 is my go-to lip moisturizer because it offers a sheer tint while also hydrating. I throw it on anytime I want to look a little more alive (bare lips are not really my thing) and am almost never without at least one or two of these.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighter in Champagne Pop  is the perfect shade of highlight for just about any skin tone. I've been using it since it first came out three years ago and have no plans to switch anytime soon!

The Original Beauty Blender is still the only thing I will use to apply foundation, BB cream, or tinted moisturizer.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz for filling in your brows because you can create hair-like strokes instead of filling in the entire thing and looking like a crazy person :)

Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray is similar to the primer that I love in that it is also infused with coconut water, a probiotic-based ingredient, and skin revivers. It has multiple uses but I use it primarily as a setting spray or mid-day refresher when my skin starts feeling dry again.  If you aren't super dry you could also use this as a primer instead of the primer lotion version.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Extra Strength Daily Peel is something I use each and everyday without fail — even while on the road! Each treatment is individually wrapped which conveniently means no liquid packing. All you do is rub part one all over your face, wait two minutes, and do the same with part two to achieve smooth, radiant, refreshed skin!

Lancome Advanced Génifique Hydrogel Melting Mask is my favorite hydrating mask. It leaves my skin hydrated and glowy in only ten minutes — more noticeably than anything else I can think of.  If you’re like me and don’t think of skin care when you think of Lancome, just trust me on this.  Order one mask to test out and I promise you’ll be as shocked as I am.

Herbivore True Blue Skin Clarifying Duo is what I use when my skin feels congested and dull. The mask is anti-inflammatory, exfoliating and decongesting while the oil "works quickly to soothe irritated skin and reduce the appearance of redness and breakouts while balancing excess oil production". All Herbivore products are amazing but I think these two are my top picks.

Glamglow THIRSTYMUD™ Hydrating Treatment  is something I absolutely could NOT live without. I've been using it constantly for many years now and do not plan to ever stop. It is incredibly hydrating, calming, energizing, replenishing, and more.  Whenever my skin is really angry (super dehydrated, irritated, excessively dry from acne products or Retin-A) this is the first thing I turn to. And it works!

Sephora Exfoliating Charcoal Wipes are wipes I use while traveling. While I prefer a typical exfoliation, sometimes I am low on time or just feeling extra lazy and these definitely fit the bill!

Dior Hydra Life BB Creme Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is the best BB cream I have ever found and is pretty much the only thing I put on my face all summer long (or anytime I don't want to use foundation)! It is incredibly hydrating and adds the perfect amount of color.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask is a hydrating mask that leaves my skin feeling plump and dewy. I especially love it for travel because it comes in a tube instead of a glass or plastic jar, making it convenient and lightweight.  I also love that it doesn’t need to be rinsed off after.  You can even use it as a primer for extra hydration, as I almost always do under some tinted moisturizer anytime I fly!

Moroccanoil Treatment is yet another thing I have been using for more years than I can even remember.  It is a treatment for your hair that helps detangle, speeds up drying time, conditions, and adds shine. I have at least two full size bottles of this on hand almost always plus a travel size version which I constantly refill before each trip.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo is the best dry shampoo I have ever tried! It is more expensive than some alternatives but it actually cleans your hair and doesn't leave a gross residue so I find it to be worth it, especially if you have dark hair like me (since the cheap ones definitely leave a residue!).

Amika Bombshell Blowout Volume Spray is a heat protection spray that also adds volume.  To be honest I own almost everything Amika makes and I love it all but since I'm trying to keep this list reasonably sized I am including just this :)

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector is an overnight hair treatment that makes your hair feel SO conditioned, extra shiny, and just amazing! Any time my hair is feeling dry I throw this on (sometimes not even at night) and all of my problems are solved.
