Spring Fashion Perfect for Travel

Spring is apparently here and with spring comes some of my favorite fashion! And, as someone who travels full time, I am always on the hunt for pieces that are both cute and functional.

Below I've rounded up a few of my favorites, many of which I already own and love. So if you too happen to be on the hunt for some great new spring pieces that are perfect for travel, look no further!

DRESSES

Midi dresses in particular are having a moment right now and I love it! I especially love them for travel because the extra length makes them easier to move around in without worrying that a gust of wind is going to blow it up at any moment.

They are also great because they are as low maintenance as it comes. You pack one item instead of two, throw it on, and you immediately look put together.

This Knot Sisters dress which was one of my favorites last year is back again in a new print and perfect for spring!

I also own and love this colorful Cupcakes and Cashmere dress, this yellow Free People midi (also in blush), and my latest purchase, this floral wallpaper Gal Meets Glam Collection dress.

JUMPSUITS

Also having a moment AND wonderful for travel - jumpsuits! If you get the right one they are the most comfy thing you can possibly put on and also make you look polished and put together.

I can't stop wearing (and getting compliments on) this inexpensive Forever 21 one. I might even buy it in the second color, too!

Also high on my list is this floral Amuse Society jumpsuit, this polkadot one by Sanctuary, and this red one by Free People.

BOTTOMS

Maxi skirts are a go-to of mine during spring months because they are long enough to keep you warm(ish), they are comfortable, and they photograph well.

I always get a million questions about this yellow Morning Lavender maxi skirt whenever I wear it and I highly recommend buying it if you like the look of it.  There's also a midi length option in yellow from ASOS.

For pants, I love these AG legging ankle jeans and wear them weekly.  These J.Crew seaside pants look soo comfy for travel as do these from my favorite jean brand, FRAME!

JACKETS

Jackets can be a fun way to spice up an otherwise boring outfit, especially if you pack a lot of black while traveling as I do.

This one from Tularosa is something I find myself constantly reaching for when I am feeling drab. I have this BLANKNYC suede moto jacket in numerous colors and have trouble not buying more every time they come out with new colors.  And my latest addition, this bone colored denim jacket from Everlane, perfect for spring!

SHOES

Shoes, especially while traveling, are something you should absolutely not be cheap about. When packing for travel I find myself constantly reaching for my M. Gemi shoes because they are so well made (each pair is made by hand) and I can wear them all day everyday with ease.

I'm not normally a huge white sneaker lover but these from M. Gemi totally changed my mind.  In addition to what I said above, they also have gold accents and are as beautiful as a sneaker could possibly be.

A few years ago I purchased a pair similar to these sandals and I have worn them to the ground.  The nude color with the t-strap is especially great because it will elongate your legs (and when you're 5' 4" as I am you need that!).

These Sam Edelman petty boots are another favorite of mine (I have them in 5 colors), as are these from Rag and Bone for dressier evenings.
