The Best Face Masks
Instagram followers of mine have been telling me more and more that my skincare posts are their favorite posts of mine, so it seemed like a great time to share my favorite face masks. Face masks come in a range of different types, claiming to solve every problem under the sun. I love them personally because they provide an extra, super concentrated boost - whether that’s of hydration or something else.
Here are my current favorite face masks:

Jan Marini Skin Zyme
Jan Marini Skin Zyme is an exfoliating mask made from papaya enzymes. It has the ability to remove dead skin cells without harming tissues. I especially love it after microneedling to remove the dead skin that would otherwise be sitting idle on my face. Without this, you have to wait until the dead skin falls off because if you peel it off you risk many issues.
Even without microneedling, it’s a great way to rejuvenate your skin for smooth and polished skin. It’s also said to help with acne, hyperpigmentation, and scar reduction. It is suitable for all skin types!
SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Masque
It’s no secret that I love SkinCeuticals and their Phyto Corrective Masque is no exception! It’s a calming, hydrating, soothing, cooling mask that you can leave on for 15 minutes or overnight. It’s especially great post-procedure, post-travel, post-workout, post-sun, or any other time you’re experiencing irritation, sensitivity, redness, etc.
Basically if you need something calming and hydrating, this is my choice for you!
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
Summer Fridays’ Jet Lag Mask is a favorite hydrating face mask of mine. I use it normally at least once a week and find that it not only hydrates my skin but it also plumps it and leaves it incredibly dewy. It’s my go-to mask for travel because it comes in a tube instead of a glass or plastic jar, making it convenient and lightweight. It doesn’t need to be rinsed off after (you can use it as a primer) so I always put it on prior to hopping on a flight. It dries clear, too, which makes it much less alarming than a sheet mask.
If you have tried other products from them and weren’t sold on the brand, give this one a try. I don’t like some of their other products but this one is definitely a winner!
GLAMGLOW THIRSTYMUD Hydrating Treatment Mask
Glamglow’s Thirstymud Hydrating Mask is a deeply hydrating mask that delivers instant, extreme moisture! Whenever my skin is really angry (super dehydrated, irritated, excessively dry from traveling or something else) this is one of the first things I turn to. I always have at least one on hand because it’s saved my skin so many times. Normally I find marketing to be exaggerated but in this case I’ve found it really does deliver extreme moisture instantly… Imagine that ;)
Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Sleeping Mask
As someone who very much loves snail slime in skincare, it’s no surprise that I love Missha’s Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Sleeping Mask, which I tried after falling in love with their Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Cream. It contains 30% snail mucin extract (snail slime) which is incredibly moisturizing and also anti-aging. This mask also strengthens your skin barrier and helps relieve skin stress. It’s a sleeping mask which means you put it on before you go to bed and wash it off in the morning. It doesn’t get easier than that!
Goodal Anti-Wrinkle Sleep Cream Pack
The Goodal Anti-Wrinkle Sleep Cream Pack is another face mask you apply before bed and sleep with on. It’s made of fermented argan oil and lavender oil which will instantly nourish dry and aging skin. Lavender oil before bed also helps you sleep, too! I can’t believe how soft this makes my skin feel almost instantly, and even more so when I wake up in the morning.
Enature Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack
Enature’s Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack is another incredibly hydrating mask and another sleeping mask! You simply put it on your face before going to sleep and then you wake up with hydrated, rejuvenated skin. I often apply it on top of my retinol to avoid waking up with flaky, dry skin.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
The Laneige Lip Mask isn’t a face mask but it is a lip mask which is on your face so I’m including it! I put this on during my morning skincare routine to prep my lips. It is extremely hydrating, making your lips smoother and more supple, and something I VERY highly recommend! I also put it before bed and throughout the day as needed. Don’t let the “sleeping mask” name fool you — it’s not just for sleeping!
