Beauty Insider Spring Sephora Sale - My Top Recommendations

MAKEUP

For a full rundown of my everyday natural makeup routine, click here! The below list is only my FAVORITES — I tried really hard to narrow it down further but I really can’t. I love it all.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask — I actually put this on during my morning skincare routine to prep my lips. It is extremely hydrating and something I VERY highly recommend! I also put it before bed and throughout the day as needed. Don’t let the “sleeping mask” term fool you, it’s not just for sleeping!

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream — if you want something full coverage, this is it! It’s hydrating, smoothing, brightening, anti-aging, contains an SPF of 50, and is color-correcting. What more could you ask for?

Oh I know, more shade options :) To be totally honest the shade range is totally not ideal. For me I wear light which is a bit too light, but the next shade up (light medium) is way too orange. To solve the problem I usually mix light with another foundation!

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation — my recommendation if you are looking for a light coverage foundation. It’s hydrating and incredibly lightweight.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder — to be honest I can’t stand Charlotte Tilbury’s marketing because it makes crazy promises, but this powder actually does deliver a flawless finish! It blurs imperfections and reduces shine without drying (I have dry skin).

Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette — if you’re in the market for an everyday, natural shadow palette that is also great for travel, add this to your cart immediately!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner — THE best eyeliner. It can even last through a car accident… no better convincing than that!

Lancome CILS BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base — the best lash primer. It’s conditioning, priming, and really does add extra length and thickness!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara — the #1 selling mascara at Sephora. If you want big, bold lashes, this is for you.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz — the best brow pencil! I have tried countless brow products at Sephora and this is by FAR the best. It’s super slim and allows you to create hair-like strokes for a very natural look.

Kat Von D Shade + Light Face Contour Palette — I am never, ever, EVER without this contour palette. The top row is highlighting and the bottom row allows you to create shadows to sculpt and slenderize. It’s a must.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer — the best selling bronzer at Sephora for a reason. Another must!

Becca Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop — if you don’t already own Champagne Pop, add this to your cart immediately. It’s the best highlighter color and formula I have come across (it doesn’t leave a powdery-looking streak across your cheek).

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist — I highly recommend this setting spray if you want a dewy look. If you have oily skin you probably won’t like it but everyone else will love! There’s also this set that includes their primer (the best selling primer at Sephora) for a steal of a deal. I bought it myself, too!

TooFaced Lip Injection Extreme — for a lip plumper that actually works, I recommend this from TooFaced. It does sting a bit but personally that does not bug me because the ones that don’t sting I don’t find to actually do anything.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk — I have a hard time finding nude shades that don’t wash me out, but this cult favorite Pillow Talk shade is great for everyone. The perfect pinky nude.

Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red — the most perfect red to ever exist, I promise. I constantly get questions about it.

HAIRCARE

I have a long, long list of things I use on my hair. Different things for different circumstances! For my very thorough haircare post about how to get shiny, healthy hair, click here!

It was really hard to narrow down that list because there are specific things you need based on your issue, but if I absolutely had to break it down to my top recommendations, they are:

Moroccanoil Clarifying Shampoo — the #1 shampoo I am never without. It deeply cleanses your hair without stripping it of moisture. If your hair still feels dirty even after you wash it, this is what you need to buy.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo — the best dry shampoo because it actually cleans your hair!

The Wizard Detangling Primer by Amika — if you need a good heat protectant, this is my recommendation. It not only protects your hair from heat but also detangles, reduces blow dry time, softens, adds shine, nourishes, and it even smells great! It’s packed with nutrients to keep your hair shiny and healthy.

Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray — I go on a bit of a rant about the importance of good hairspray in my thorough haircare post, so I’ll save you the deets here. This is just the best. It’s non-damaging, adds a reflective shine, infuses your hair with argan oil, fights frizz and humidity, and is weightless.

Moroccanoil Treatment — a cult favorite that absolutely everyone should own. It’s provides hydration, detangles, speeds up drying time, and boosts shine.

Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner — if you have weak, dry, color-damaged hair, this is for you. It is highly moisturizing, reparative, and strengthening. I wrongfully thought Olaplex products were just for people with color treated hair but it’s actually good for everyone. It repairs and maintains bonds within the hair which break down not only when you get your hair colored but also from things like environmental factors (this is why it’s good for everyone). It also helps reduce frizz and adds shine!

Amika Vandal Volume Powder Spray — my. new. favorite. thing. ever. It’s a powder that adds volume and texture. You can use it on your roots or through your hair to add more volume. It is AMAZING.

SKINCARE

Supergoop Forever Young Hand Cream with SPF 40 — this is honestly one of my favorite discoveries in the last year. It is incredibly important that you wear SPF on your face and hands (at the very least), yet I never did that until discovering this. Most hand creams do not contain SPF (which now makes me wonder why) but this does and it’s amazing. It’s lightweight and incredibly moisturizing. SO good.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Extra Strength Daily Peel — a great daily (or as needed) chemical exfoliant and cult favorite for good reason! It is a pack of two pre-soaked pads that are anti-aging and radiance providing. It takes just two minutes and provides powerful, yet gentle exfoliation plus anti-aging benefits.

Glamglow THIRSTYMUD™ Hydrating Treatment — if you need some hydration, this Glamglow mask is for you. I am never without it and use it at least once a week. It has been my favorite for 4+ years.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask — another favorite hydrating face mask of mine, especially if you are looking for one to travel with (the packaging is convenient for that). You can use it as a primer too and I especially love to put it on on plane rides since it dries clear and is less alarming than a sheet mask!

St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse — my go-to self tanner! I have tried so many other ones but keep coming back to this.

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops — my favorite face self tanner. They are drops you mix in with your moisturizer for a natural, gradual tan. Despite being ghostly white I actually use the “dark” color. It’s not that dark and is, again, very gradual. Don’t forget to wash your hands after!

OTHER

Clarisonic Mia Smart 3-in-1 Beauty Device — if you don’t own and use a Clarisonic you MUST. And that’s not just coming from me, but from my dermatologist, too! Even after double cleansing which I do every night I find that without this not everything is removed from my face. Your makeup with go on smoother, your skincare will absorb deeper. If you don’t want to waste product, get this!

Nurse Jamie Instant UpLift Massaging Beauty Roller — if your face is puffy, this is great for lymphatic drainage! It’s similar to those rose quart rollers you see everywhere except it’s amazing quality and will not break. I love mine.

Slip Pure Silk Pillowcase — if you’ve read my haircare post or watch my Instagram stories then you already know this is an absolute must. I never sleep on anything else. It is incredibly anti-aging for your skin AND your hair. The silk can actually provide hydration and it doesn’t pull at your skin (which will of course age you). Since you spend 1/3 of your life in bed - this is well worth the investment.
